Christopher Piorkowski is division vice president and chief medical officer of ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ's electrophysiology business. Dr. Piorkowski leads the electrophysiology medical affairs organization that is involved in new product development, preclinical research, emerging technologies and clinical trial strategy.
Dr. Piorkowski joined ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ in 2020. Prior to joining ºù«ÍÞÊÓƵ, he established and led the Department of Electrophysiology at the University of Dresden.
Dr. Piorkowski received his M.D. from theÌýUniversity of Berlin, Charité. He trained in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Electrophysiology at the University of Leipzig. He has authored over 240 scientific publications with more than 4,500 citations and served as scientific reviewer for numerous EP journals, medical universities, and medical technology organizations.Ìý
